A Rule of Tum Heading to Worcester Arches

A Rule of Tum Gourmet Burgers Heading to the Arches

If you love a good burger then you have probably already tried the delicious A Rule of Tum gourmet burger. A Rule of Tum has been delighting their customers with Hereford beef burgers at the Burger Shop in Hereford and The Bookshop restaurant and bar. Now they are spreading their wings and Worcester appears to be their next port of call.

Worcester City Council has backed A Rule of Tum’s application to open a new burger restaurant called Burger Shop Arches, to be located in Cherry Tree Walk.  The planning committee are hoping to revamp the rail archway and are hoping the addition of the gourmet restaurant will help to bring new life to the area and provide more choice for diners in the area. The archway is currently in a bad condition and Network Rail has given the project their blessing, agreeing that the addition will make good use of the arches.

Bringing Quality Burgers to Worcester

This is exciting news for diners who are looking for quality food in Worcester. However, some nearby residents are concerned about the prospect of having a burger restaurant close to their homes. The owner of A Rule of Tum, Edwin Kirk has spoken out about these concerns and informed local residents that they are not looking to cause any trouble and will do everything possible to make sure that residents will not be negatively impacted by their restaurant. One of the major concerns for residents is a bad smell lingering around their properties. To combat this, the committee who approved the plans have made is subject to the location of bin storage, the site management plans and the location of the exhaust stack.

Burger Shop Arches will create 13 full-time jobs in the area. It will be able to seat 60 people and will open from 12-11pm on Monday to Saturday and close at 10pm on Sundays.
