One of the foods you don’t have to give up is beef, especially if you ditch the grain fed meat and replace it with healthier grass fed varieties, such as our very own Hereford Beef.

What Makes Hereford Beef so Good?

Hereford beef is a native breed that is raised on fresh pastures before being aged to perfection. As a result the meat is succulent, with marbling that ensures exquisite flavours and tender bites.  Beef is full of lots of protein that helps to fill you up quicker and that gives you a source of essential amino acids for stronger muscles and bones. You’ll also find plenty of B vitamins in your Hereford Beef too that are fantastic for brain functions and giving you energy. The goodness doesn’t end there though, with your beef dish you’ll also have a source of energy giving iron that helps to build your red blood cells along with some zinc for a more resilient immune system. Grass fed beef has added omega 3 fatty acids, which have been shown to help reduce the risk of certain cancers, obesity and diabetes.
