The New Hereford Food, Drink and Music Festival

Hereford food festivalThe Hereford Food, Drink and Music Festival

A local Hereford family have been working hard preparing for a brand new food festival they’re launching in the city this summer. The Hereford racecourse will be the perfect setting for the 2-day festival, celebrating local food, drink and music. We recommend keeping July 1-2 free as this is going to be another excellent event you won’t want to miss.

The organisers are a mother and daughter team and their partners. Steve and Jacqui Pugh and Sophie and Adam Sherief. Together, Jacqui and Sophie have been organising wedding fayres and events for the past 5 years, both locally and nationally. Now, they’re working together once more, to celebrate Hereford and promote local business and produce with the 2-day festival.

Inundated with Producers and Performers

The event organisers have only recently opened applications for food and drink vendors and music acts from the country. They have been inundated with applications and already the stalls are over half full and more than 100 music acts have applied. The festival will have plenty of stalls and live music but there will also be free masterclasses to enhance your own cooking skills. The masterclass details have yet to be confirmed but they are to be held by chefs, bakers and butchers.

The Hereford Food, Drink and Music Festival will be fun for the whole family. There will be a fun children’s area and kids can go free. The price of the adult ticket is yet to be confirmed but the organisers have said it will not exceed £5.
